Abra has performed with many vocal ensembles in Maine and the North East. She
is a member of the Choral Art Society, Portland Camerata and the USM Chamber Singers,
all under the direction of Dr. Robert Russell. In 2007 she was selected to sing with the American
Choral Directors Association National Honor Choir, conducted by Dr. William Weinert of The
Eastman School of Music, and in 2008 she was invited again, this time under the direction of
Gary Graden, Sweden's foremost choral conductor. Abra is currently pursuing a degree in music
from the University of Southern Maine, where she studies voice with Mr. Fithian.
When she's not singing, she is almost exclusively knitting, but she has been known to attempt
both at the same time.
