In addition to the St. Mary Schola, Erin Niland has performed as a soloist with the USM Chorale, Chamber Singers, and the Downeast Singers. She sang in the Westminster Symphonic Choir in the New York Philharmonic's 2006 broadcast of Handel's Messiah. Ms Niland made her Boston debut in 2008 at Jordan Hall in Yeomen of the Guard with the Bostonians Opera Company, and she has appeared locally at the Victoria Mansion as part of the National Endowment for the Arts 2009 Big Read gala event. Previous operatic roles include First Lady in The Magic Flute and Euridice in L'Orpheo. Ms Niland is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine School of Music and Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ. She currently resides in Portland, Maine.
