Evan Cuddy graduated from Susquehanna University with a bachelor's degree in music performance, and is currently in his second year of graduate studies at the University of Southern Maine. Evan joined the St Mary Schola in the spring of 2011, and has also served as a sectional violist in the Williamsport Symphony Orchestra, and the Susquehanna Valley Chorale Orchestra. His experience in string teaching comes from seven summers as head counselor of music and drama at Camp Wawenock in Raymond Maine and one summer at the Southern Maine String Camp in Winthrop Maine. In March of 2011, he became a certified instructor of the Mark O'Connor violin method and has been teaching the method at the Breakwater School in Portland. In addition to performing and teaching, Evan has recently enjoyed dabbling in composition.
